Episode 106: A Very Covid Christmas

Four days before Christmas, I tested positive for Covid, as did a friend staying with us. For some reason, Perry was spared.


Of course, all of our plans had to be canceled. Even though I have a mild version., it's unsettling that after three years of the disease being rampant, it finally got me.


I had been bragging that the reason I didn't get Covid was because I use Sensimist nasal spray and a allergy pill at night. In fact, England and the U.S. are doing studies about the effectiveness of this regime. At one point I knew four other people who had sidestepped the virus using the same approach while their friends all caught it.


So on New Year's Eve, I still have it. We gave up wild NYE parties years ago, so we'll be snoring in the new year and owndering what the ruckus is at midnight when the fire cracers go off.
